Description
Founding API & Integrations Engineer
Own AxisPad’s backend APIs and partner integrations. Design, build, and scale secure endpoints, webhooks, and data pipelines that connect drone operators, retailers, and property systems.
Responsibilities:
- Backend API build/operate (Node/TS or Python)
- Auth basics (JWT/OAuth), input validation, logging
- SQL + schema design (Postgres)
- Webhooks and partner integration experience
- CI/CD and cloud deploy (AWS or GCP)
- Writing clear API docs and tests
Strong plus, not required:
- Go, event queues (SQS/Kafka), GraphQL
- Rate limiting, observability stack
- Real-time messaging, IoT/edge, GIS/maps
- Aviation/drone APIs knowledge
- Years of experience are flexible.
